A Journey from Necessity to Purpose

The Unexpected Entrepreneur

Natalie never set out to become a wellness entrepreneur. With two degrees, an Honours BA in Sociology and a Bachelor of Education, as well as a Diploma in Regulatory Law Administration, her path seemed largely academic. Add to that a lifelong love of sports (volleyball through school and into adulthood, now an avid golfer), and you’d picture someone building a career in education or law, not formulating natural healing products.

But sometimes life has other plans.

When Motherhood Changes Everything

Everything shifted when her first son was born. Suddenly, the ingredients in everyday products weren’t just marketing copy; they were potential risks to her child’s well-being. What started as a mother’s protective instinct evolved into a passionate pursuit of clean, natural alternatives.

“While I’ve always been interested in health and wellness, I never imagined I would own my own wellness brand,” she reflects. “Truthfully, my passion for clean products became mandatory when I had my first son. I wanted to keep him safe from synthetic ingredients.”

The Learning Never Stops

Today, as a wife and mother of two active, athletic boys, she embodies what it means to be a lifelong learner. Currently pursuing her herbalist certification, she brings both scientific rigour and intuitive understanding to every product decision.

“If I could say one thing about being the owner of this brand, it would be that I’m always learning,” she says. “We’re a small company, which means I wear many hats, and no task is too small for me.”

Driven by Purpose, Not Profit

What drives her isn’t just business success, but genuine impact. “What fuels my passion most is delivering high-quality, all-natural products to people who are passionate about clean, simple, and natural healing solutions.”

Her vision extends beyond individual sales to building a community of like-minded retailers and wholesalers who share her belief in natural solutions. “My goal is to have our products in stores that value the importance of natural healing, and we work hard to connect with partners who believe in this vision.”

The Accidental Entrepreneur’s Advantage

Perhaps it’s precisely because she didn’t set out to be an entrepreneur that she brings such authenticity to the role. Her sociology background helps her understand what people truly need. Her educational training makes her a natural teacher and communicator. Her regulatory law knowledge ensures every product meets the highest standards. She ensured that both products, PAIN and SKIN, have Health Canada approval.

But most importantly, her experience as a mother searching for safe and effective products for her family means that every formulation decision comes from a place of genuine care. Not just a market opportunity.

In a world of manufactured wellness brands, she represents something rare: an entrepreneur who discovered her calling through personal necessity, and now shares that discovery with families seeking the exact natural solutions she once needed.
